Questions
We
know that deciding to build a website is a big step, so we have
produced a list of common questions and queries that people ask
when considering using our services.
How
long will it take to design my website?
The website will be ready for your approval within a maximum of
2 weeks of receiving your current promotional material, if you have
chosen one of our template designs. If you are using our bespoke
service then it could take up to 4 weeks. Obviously the size of
the bespoke website and other complexities will effect the amount
of time required to build the solution. Most sites are ready much
quicker than the times shown and it is our policy to service our
customers needs promptly.
How can you offer a website cost effectively when others charge
£1000+?
Because we have already spent time designing a large library of
ready-made websites we don't have to spend our time and your money
making them from scratch. So we only charge you for the time it
takes for us to add your details and images onto your chosen website
template.
How
do I know when its ready?
After your website has been designed and checked by our Internet
Services Manager, we will upload it to a secure part of our server
for your viewing. We will send you an e-mail or letter with instructions
on how to preview your website.
What
about changes?
When the site is ready to be previewed, you must tell us of any
editing that you want to take place within 14 days of receiving
your instructions. Included in your price is one set of changes
free of charge - all other changes will be chargeable. If you do
not contact us within the 14 days we will assume you are happy with
your site and will make it live.
Should
I have lots of images on the site?
There are many different computers that will access your website,
some fast and other slow. In order to shorten download times for
all your visitors we suggest that images are limited.
How
do I publicise my website ?
Apart from putting your domain name on all documentation, such as
letterheads and business cards we can offer you more marketing solutions
such as submitting your website to the top search engines. We can
also set up statistics to check how many people have visited your
